The program of Grafixx EXTD. #1 included a lecture by Klaas Verplancke on the role of social media in illustration. Collectors Johan Pas and Dick Wessels came to present their collections of artists’ books. But there was also room for a debate between comics connoisseur Roel Daenen (Stripgids), Jeroen Janssen (winner of the Bronze Adhemar), bookseller/author/cinematographer Enzo Smits (Zwart Wit) and artist Ephameron, who together reflected on the importance of paper publications.

During our first edition, we also proudly presented the fourth issue of Stripgids. For this, Grafixx provided the central section with a large overview of the festival and, of course, lots of visual material, interviews and a look behind the scenes.
