Lecturers Brecht Vandenbroucke (LUCA Brussel), Carla Swerts (LUCA Gent), Sam Vanbelle (Sint Lucas Antwerpen), Martha Verschaffel (KASK), and the comic book teachers at Saint-Luc Liège have selected their favourite graduate projects from the class of 2025. Hosted in the basement of De Studio, this exhibition reveals the first constellations of a new generation of artists.
Fynn van der Ziel animates films and draws, fascinated by absurd stories and everyday phenomena. His risographed books and videos feature fish markets, talking flowers, earthquakes, and badminton — always ending in a playful twist. His graduation project, De Denkrimpel van Broeder Roeland, is a 66-page visual tale about a lyrical writer on a doomed quest for peace.
