VEIL
A veil both conceals and reveals, turning shapes ambiguous. This new edition of Grafixx explores who hides behind masks, how identity can be built in layers, and which images speak louder by leaving something out. In a diffused world, the everyday becomes mysterious. A veil becomes a threshold: between looking and being seen, between life and the hereafter, between showing and carefully covering up. Grafixx invites us to step into the mist and lose ourselves among hidden meanings and that which slips just beyond our gaze…
During this fourteenth edition of Grafixx, a selection of artists journeys into the possibilities of the theme “Veil”. Across three days, enjoy workshops for all ages, lectures by emerging and established creatives, animation screenings, and exhibitions. To top it all off, lose yourself in a zine fest with hard-to-source publications by visual storytellers from around the globe.
