Lecturers Brecht Vandenbroucke (LUCA Brussel), Carla Swerts (LUCA Gent), Sam Vanbelle (Sint Lucas Antwerpen), Martha Verschaffel (KASK), and the comic book teachers at Saint-Luc Liège have selected their favourite graduate projects from the class of 2025. Hosted in the basement of De Studio, this exhibition reveals the first constellations of a new generation of artists.
In her gouache paintings, Hannah Depraetere explores the fragmented nature of traumatic memories. Time and space lose structure, drawing visitors into her unsettling scenes. This work originates from a need to dislodge, to flee, yet also to accept. The images are produced from a creative space between destruction and imagination.
