Lecturers Brecht Vandenbroucke (LUCA Brussel), Carla Swerts (LUCA Gent), Sam Vanbelle (Sint Lucas Antwerpen), Martha Verschaffel (KASK), and the comic book teachers at Saint-Luc Liège have selected their favourite graduate projects from the class of 2025. Hosted in the basement of De Studio, this exhibition reveals the first constellations of a new generation of artists.
For her graduation project, Ilja van den Broeck created a graphic narrative about her twin brother, who lives with a severe disability. Her artistic practice often stems from personal experiences and observations, which she translates through pencil, pastel, paint, collage, and textiles. The result is a visual language that is both intimate and versatile.
