Lucien De Roeck
with Blow Book en Jean-Michel Meyers
From posters and typography to illustration and comics, Lucien De Roeck seemed equally at home in every corner of the graphic arts. As a teacher at La Cambre, he inspired generations of artists, including Folon and Alechinsky. His iconic star design for Expo ’58 became part of Belgium’s visual memory. Today, graphic designer Jean-Michel Meyers has carefully archived his grandfather’s remarkable body of work, sharing it with new audiences in collaboration with Blow Book.
