For more than 25 years, Pieter Van Eenoge has been turning complex ideas into images that feel surprisingly clear. He describes his visual language as introvert expressionism. Working with acrylic and oil paint, he explores the relationship between his characters and their surroundings. Starting from reality, he gradually bends it to his will, adding graphic twists and subtle jokes, and pushing towards abstraction along the way.
