Brendan, a playful young orphan boy, lives in the Irish abbey of Kells. One day, the old master illuminator Aidan introduces him to the intriguing Book of Kells. In order to finish it, he needs the boy’s help. Brendan leaves on a bewitching and vibrantly drawn mission in the forbidden wood.
